I keep getting told that My Sig to too big i.e. over 50Kb the propeteies tab in C:\Documents and Settings\Martin\My Documents\My Pictures has it at 46.9 KB (48,054 bytes) it is a cool Sig and i want to use it can anybody help me fix this I have tried 3 times.

Here is the sig as I have worked on it

It's not size that matters (no pun intended), but picture format that matters. BMP's can get to be quite large. Post a picture of your original one (original sized one), and I'll try to convert it to JPEG for you.

I would like to have a sig cuz i dont have any decent photoshop of paintshop skills.
I'm a elementalist named Lucifers Fire so a bit of black and red should go well with this name. oh and my guild is named Heretic Cult maybe you can place that somewhere on the pic to.
If its possible make a wide pic not that high, as most sigs are on this forum...

Neither is right because they're both too large.

Anyhow, please check the forum announcements or the first post in this thread because there's been a change in our guidelines regarding signatures. You all have a bit of time to readjust your signatures but many *will* need to be readjusted.

hmm i always seem to find crap PSP tutorials, can anyone help / direct me to good tutorials to do with merging pictures? my main problem is removing the edges of a background of an image without damaging the actual image i want - see the mesmer in my current sig. can anyone help me at all?

That is a cute one, Enix, and perfectly legal, although I always encourage people to try and get it even smaller than that if they can. I made my current sig after getting jealous of FrogDevourer and his guildies for their extremely tight sigs:

I have to agree with Dreamsmith about the smaller sigs, they're just so neat with their presentation and usage of space, plus, they're not as much of a drain on dial-up users. That is, at least, most of them anyways
